So very proud of this picture – this is Gavin Ferris playing the Catherwood Dragon Guitar – I drew the body shape to be held and played within the engineering parameters laid down by my clever Luthier husband Dr John Catherwood. The details – our bog oak Drumlin inlay and the bridge I drew shapes for, for the headstock I designed and burned the Catherwood logo and the Dragon herself I burned onto the top of the soundboard with the #firewriter I keep going on about. Gavin played it for the first time beautifully and memorably at the Ards International Guitar Festival a few weeks ago. Lovely photo taken by the really talented Michael Barbour / 2nd Shooter.

Delighted to say that 2 of my works have been selected for the Living Local Exchange exhibition! Currently n the Back Wall Gallery, Dundonald: 27th August – 5th September then moving to the
Community Arts Walkway, Lisburn: 11th September – 3rd October. This is the second piece, the wood burning called ‘it was a miracle of rare device’.

I love it when I get to see my work out in the wilds hanging free :-) many thanks @fireflyrosy x

Exhibition

Geralyn and Lisa have been friends for many years and always thought they would exhibit together. When Paul (of Castillo) offered them space and some of his fantastic food for the opening it was too good an opportunity to miss. Most of this work has not been exhibited before.
